Hi again,
On rereading this, I decided I failed to show *exactly* what to do.
At 12:21 PM 11/30/2007, I wrote:
<xsl:template match="section" mode="toc">
<xsl:if test="$include">
... do your thing ...
</xsl:if>
</xsl:template>
<xsl:template match="section" mode="body">
<xsl:if test="$include">
... do your thing ...
</xsl:if>
</xsl:template>
How you define "$include" for each section, and what you do when you
do your thing, is up to you. You just have to make sure $include is
defined to return true() or false() for each section the same way in
both traversals.
That is:
<xsl:template match="section" mode="toc">
<xsl:variable name="include" select="true() or false()"/>
<xsl:if test="$include">
... do your thing ...
</xsl:if>
</xsl:template>
<xsl:template match="section" mode="body">
<xsl:variable name="include" select="true() or false()"/>
<xsl:if test="$include">
... do your thing ...
</xsl:if>
</xsl:template>
... where "true() or false()" is replaced by whatever your test for
inclusion is, and it's the same in both places.
Cheers,
Wendell
