You can save an Excel file to XML in version 2003 or 2007. You will then
need to convert the format to the one you need.
You can also attach a schema more aligned to your data but again you'll need
some post-processing although there is an option to save only the data which
should make this easier. A similar option is available in Microsoft Word.
Another alternative would be to use Open Office and again post-process the
XML, this can all be automated on a Windows machine using JavaScript of
similar.

Subject: [xsl] Open Source - Excel to XML Converter

I am looking for an easy way to create an XML data
file.
For example I have my xml data structure like this:
<books>
<book>
<isbn>1234</isbn>
<title></title>
</book>
<book>
<isbn>1234</isbn>
<title></title>
</book>
<book>
<isbn>1234</isbn>
<title></title>
</book>
</books>
It's a bit tedious to create this file manually and
was looking to enter the data in an Excel spread sheet
and then use a converter to convert from Excel to XML.
Does any one know a good converter?
