Raman, sorry, I meant name="{@id}", if id is an "attribute".
My cat has recently been using JSP EL (which uses "$") and JSF EL (which uses "#"), and sometimes mistypes my dictated posts to this ng.

When I try to do <xsl:attribute name="{$id}">... I get on that line the following error: Column #29; Illegal value used for attribute name:
