Is it possible to trim the length of a string in XSL ?
for example,
if I grab the title from an xml file
<xsl:value-of select="title" />
and the title is "Mother Nature Fan Club: Environmental Directory for Education"
how would I trim the string so that the result would be "Mother Nature Fan Club ..." ??
dont know if this is possible in XML/XSL, would be great if someone could point me in the right direction!
thank you,
J
