How to do it ? > You can't parse a string containing lexical XML and turn it into a tree structure using any standard XSLT construct. There is an extension function in Saxon to do it - saxon:parse(). Generally, though, it's better to parse the XML in your calling application and pass the document node as a parameter. Michael Kay http://www.saxonica.com/
