If four transformations run concurrently, with no contention between them,
then you would expect each one to take four times as long as when the
processor is dedicated to a single user. This seems to be consistent with
the results you observe.
Interesting detail...
Bhupendra was talking about an 8 CPU system, so would this imply that Websphere is utilising only
one CPU? When multiple CPU's are being utilized, I would expect a far less increase in
transformation time...
Bhupendra, have you monitored the load and cpu usage during the request handling?
