Hi poppe,
I think you can exclude the xmns:m using the following attribute on your stylesheet element.
exclude-result-prefixes="m", as you have done for the "xalan" prefix in your stylesheet.

Hi,
the problem is the 'xmlns:m="MCTF" and the xml:space="preserve" parts wich are introduced into the resulting xml file is there any way to prevent these additional lines without changing my functionality?
I can't see immediately where the xmlns:m is coming from, but the xml:space="preserve" is entered literally in the transform (last template: the SUBSTREAM_interior is created *with* this attribute).
HTH!
Greetz,
Andreas
