RE: [xsl] reccursive sum ?
Subject: RE: [xsl] reccursive sum ? From: "Ricaud Matthieu" <matthieu.ricaud@xxxxxxx> Date: Thu, 4 Mar 2004 17:36:53 +0100 |
Ok I proceed and it work fine ! I only had a bug because of the folowing line : document(concat('../ME/', $refME, '.xml') So I put it in a variable <xsl:variable name="PathMEXML"> ../ME/<xsl:value-of select="$refME"/>.xml </xsl:variable> and then : document($PathMEXML) and it work ! But i really don't understant why it did not work with the first expression !!!??, -----Message d'origine----- De : owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]De la part de David Carlisle Envoyé : jeudi 4 mars 2004 14:39 À : xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Objet : Re: [xsl] reccursive sum ? > So there's no solution.. oh, there's always a solution:-) for example in your "first pass" node set you could store the sums rather than the links (just using the "one file" form of document() ) so something like <xsl:variable name="ME-sum"> <xsl:for-each select="ME> <sum> <xsl:value-of select="count(document(concat('../',@xid,'.xml'))/some/path/i/forget"/> </sum> </xsl:variable> so now $ME-sum is something like <sum>5</sum><sum>7</sum><sum>3</sum><sum>3</sum> including repeated sums, so you just want to sum that: <xsl:value-of select="msxsl:node-set($ME-sum)/sum"/> David -- http://www.dcarlisle.demon.co.uk/matthew ________________________________________________________________________ This e-mail has been scanned for all viruses by Star Internet.
