Stylus Studio, now from Sonic, has the capability to allow you to graphically link nodes from the Input XML to nodes in the output XML and generate a stylesheet to perform that translation. That said, a few caveats. I don't really like the code generated, it is (or at least was at version 4.x) heavily dependent on for-each rather than on apply-templates. Also, if you don't provide a complete enough input or output sample, it will not be able to generate the correct code. Finally, if you need complex patterns, such as grouping, it will not work. But even with that, it can help as a starting point. Hello, Does anyone know of any tool out there that can automatically generate the required XSLT if it is given a sample input file and output file?
