Lainaus Richard Lewis <richard.lewis@xxxxxxxxx>:

<!-- Does anyone know if theres a command line program that you can us to
<!-- execute
<!-- XPath expressions on a given XML document and return the result to
<!-- standard
<!-- output?
<!--
<!-- If not, would anyone be interested in writing one?!

You might want to check XMLStarlet

XMLStarlet is a command line toolkit to query/edit/check/transform
XML documents (for more information see http://xmlstar.sourceforge.net/)

Current implementation uses libxslt from GNOME codebase as XSLT processor
(see http://xmlsoft.org/ for more details)

Jarkko
