[xsl] parsing entities
Subject: [xsl] parsing entities From: silvan <silvan@xxxxxxxxx> Date: Mon, 25 Aug 2003 15:18:42 +0200 |
Dear List Does anyone has an idea about how to do dynamic calls of external entities? In the xslfile i have a set of Entities defined which should get included according to the parsed xml; <!ENTITY foo "value_foo"> <!ENTITY bar "value_bar"> the xml looks somewhat similar to; <elem name="foo"> <elem_foo>blah</elem_foo> </elem> <elem name="bar"> <elem_bar>blah</elem_bar> </elem> ... and now i try to fetch the appropriate entities according to an element's name attribute <xsl:for-each select="elem"> <!-- &{@name}; --> </xsl:for-each> The above obviously won't work, just shows the basic idea of assigning Entities depending on a node's attribute. Maybe there's already a mistake in understanding... Any ideas etc. highly appreciated thanx silvan XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
