Hi Mark,

Michael's suggestion doesn't seem that onerous if you apply XSLT transformations in stages. Simply use the suggested modification with an identity template to create an XSLT transformation that strips the unwanted namespaces which you can apply at the final stage. That way, you can use your existing templates and then just tack on the namespace-stripping transformation at the end.

Lol, yes, I often dig very deep holes I can't seem to get myself out of. It wasn't my intent to change any namespaces.

yes (I do it quite often) but somehow (as confirmed) I suspected that despite evidence to the contrary, the intention wasn't to change the namespace here...
