[xsl] Accessing nodes via variables
Subject: [xsl] Accessing nodes via variables From: "Manish M. Shah" <manish@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: 29 Apr 2002 17:48:07 -0500 |
Hello there, I need to access nodes using variable names, for example: <xsl:variable name="blah" select="@node"/> . . . <xsl:value-of select="$blah"/> >From what I've read, I can use evaluate() from Xalan's extensions. Only problem is when I set up the xmlns on the top via: <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" xmlns:xalan="http://xml.apache.org/xalan"> I get the following error: "The URI http://xml.apache.org/xalan does not identify an external Java class." Any idea on what this is and how to go about fixing it? Thanks. Manish XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
