But without d-o-e is there any alternative? The only one I can imagine is using output-method text and reparse it
... as XML - can cause great problems, if the [] were not correct structured (in the sense of XML).
... as HTML - should cause no problems.

but if you're in a situation where d-o-e is not supported then it doesn't work.
