but you can't do this unless the data model allows functions.
This is what you'd expect in most languages that have sequences and
mapping operators. lisp, ML, Haskel, .... But currently not in
XSLT.

I think functions should be allowed as objects on the datamodel but I
think the WGs still need a bit more convincing....
