I've seen (NOT written...) Java code like this :

public void someMethod()
{
  String caller;

  try
  {
    throw new Exception("nothing happened");
  }
  catch (Exception e)
  {
    // get name of caller from exception stack trace
  }

  if (caller.equals("someClass"))
  {
    ...
  } 
  else
  {
    ...
  }

}
