The list is a bit noisy today so I thought I would just forward this from the svg list. It is the CML demo at http://www.adobe.com/svg/demos/main.html that realy got me going ;-) Ciao Chris XML/XSL Portal http://www.bayes.co.uk/xml -----Original Message----- From: Steve Snell [mailto:ssnell@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: 07 November 2001 18:44 To: svg-developers@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [svg-developers] Adobe SVG Viewer 3.0 Now Available The SVG Team at Adobe is happy to announce that Adobe SVG Viewer 3.0 is now available for download from http://www.adobe.com/svg. The new viewer better supports the SVG 1.0 specification and adds much requested developer features: Elements and attributes Support for the following elements: color-profile, marker, title, and view; full support for the switch element; support for the general requiredFeatures and systemLanguage attributes; the image element now supports links to SVG files. CSS properties Support for the following CSS properties: color-interpolation-filters, color-profile, marker, marker-end, marker-mid, marker-start; support for the @media CSS rule, and the media attribute for style elements. The values all, screen, and print are supported. DOM support Support for the SVGMatrix class; support for the getCTM, getElementsByTagNameNS, and getBBox methods. Modify contextual menus Contextual menus can now be modified by the developer for more customized applications. Internal script engine The new script engine allows self-contained JavaScript scripts to run inside SVG files embedded in hosts that don't support a bridge between plug-ins and the host script engine, including Internet Explorer on the Mac. Worldwide distribution Adobe SVG 3.0 Viewer will be available in 15 languages and is distributed with Adobe AcrobatR ReaderR. New platforms supported Apple Mac OS X (10.1) native MicrosoftR WindowsR XP Faster, more powerful Significant performance improvements. Save as compressed SVG (.svgz). SVG in Action For new examples of SVG, check out the Airbus Demo or the CML Demo at: http://www.adobe.com/svg/demos/main.html More Information For an overview of SVG, see http://www.adobe.com/svg.
