I did the same.

I was having a problem getting a table to 'stay' on one page. I did not want to ask fop specific questions here and when someone made the suggestion to join the apache fop mailing list, I did.

A pointer to a solution flowed pass in a few hours and we now build our August calender of events in pdf!

Thanks all!

Gary

Is there an FOP developer reading who could summarize for us the best way to track down FOP's capabilities, FOs and properties still unimplemented, and bugs? The documentation, while good in many respects, is somewhat scant when it comes to these things. Should we join the FOP-DEV list? I'm hesitant to flood it with what amount to user questions ... or is that okay?

Sorry for the delayed response...

I'm not a FOP developer, but often refer to FOP's implemented page:
http://xml.apache.org/fop/implemented.html

Unfortunately there are a few instances where this isn't particulary specific, in that some attributes are implemented for some parent elements but not others.

Being in the same boat, I recently joined the FOP-DEV list, just to watch. It has helped get a better idea of some of the implementation problems, and when new solutions would be available.
