what processor are you using anyway?

I noticed that sablotron (050 and 043), msxml (3) don't indent the xml with output indent set to yes.
XT (at least the one i'm using) only inserts a new line, and does not indent.
Saxon does, as do xalan, unicorn and oracle.

I didn't try any others.

<xsl:stylesheet ...>
<xsl:output method="xml" indent="yes"/>
<xsl:strip-space elements="*"/>
<xsl:template match="/">
  <xsl:copy-of select="."/>
</xsl:template>
</xsl:stylesheet>
