We do have a workaround by now, using <xsl:attribute name="objectID" namespace="http://www.fiscus.de">,
but that generates lots of ns0, ns1, ns2 namespaces.
It works, but it is not very nice.

There should be a better solution...

Hello Philip,

many apologies, its just that your output is not matching mine.

i have rechecked ( after davidc post) and have gotten your desired output using xt and the latest versions of xalan and xerces ( on redhat linux 6.2 ), a bug in the parser as he suggests ?

quite possible, though I have had some problems in the near past with localized versions of NT being the root of the problem, when i thought it was the parser ( not possible with java though, hmmm).

i would suggest having a few of the latest release parsers ( easy from http://www.netcrucible.com, u have prob already been there ! ), and seeing if u can get a result with one of em.

sorry couldnt help cheers, jim
