What version of IE loaded the document without errors? Check your document for < and > characters, make sure that these are replaced by < and > respectively. I haven't had any problems with IE not catching malformed XML, I'm using version 5.x. Did IE load the XML in the tree structure? -----Original Message----- From: owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of William Crawley Sent: Wednesday, January 24, 2001 3:02 PM To: xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: [xsl] Where .. XML List? The problem will probably be that the XML file is not well formed. Also use the doms parseerror collection to check for errors since errors that occure here will not raise a standard vb error. XML List? Anyone know where I can get on an XML list? I'm using MSXML2.DOMDocument object and errors on the "load" function. Internet Explorer says there are no errors within the XML file. With Microsoft.com down, I can't access their KB. My Error is: -1072896760, An invalid character was found in text content. Where can I find what is valid and what isn't? -- Gavin Landon Karland International http://www.karland.com/ XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
