Subject: Passing a parameter that contains a ' to a stylesheet

Does anybody know how can I pass a parameter that contains a '  to a
stylesheet without the parser complaining "Expected token 'eof'found
'NAME'.'Auteur d'-->ouevres<--adaptes"?
