Another XSL plus argument:
 Internet and informatics is not only about big and professional
projects.

It is just much easier to learn a beginner XSL then java or javascript
or ....

If you teach an average web master perhaps 5 basic tags, he can
rearrange his first document in a quick way and get hooked.

With other languages learning curve is much less straightforward.
