CSS and XSL
Subject: CSS and XSL From: Paul Prescod <paul@xxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Fri, 12 Feb 1999 11:30:53 -0600 |
To me, the biggest problem with CSS as an XSL target is the "style" attribute. It is logical and convenient from an XML point of view to have all style properties be separate attributes that can be shared and overriden separately. I am sorry to see that the new vector graphics standard chooses not to recast CSS styles in a more XML-friendly syntax. -- Paul Prescod - ISOGEN Consulting Engineer speaking for only himself http://itrc.uwaterloo.ca/~papresco If you spend any time administering Windows NT, you're far too familiar with the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) which displays the cause of the crash and gives some information about the state of the system when it crashed. -- "Microsoft Developer Network Magazine" XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
