MSXSL processor

a section on my XSL looks like this...

	<rule>
		<target-element type="FIELDS"/>
		<select-elements>

			<target-element type="FIELD">
				<attribute type="zname"
value="docdruid"/>
			</target-element>

		</select-elements>
	</rule>

what I do not understand is why the MSXSL processor, processes all FIELD
tags, when I ask it only to process the FIELD tag with an attribute
zname="docdruid"

Any ideas anyone ?
