having elements starting with integer in xml

Hi,
I know as per xml standards, there can't be any elements in the xml file
starting with an integer.

But if I need to have such integer tags, is there any workaround or
anyother ideas to do that.

I need to have the tags like,
<1-1>sdgdfgdfg</1-1>

Any ideas??
