Basically I think Algorithmic checking is still the closest, although
the bad implication of that term is that one can check all algorithms
and one can't but one can certainly check things that are often
referred to as being algorithms.

For example a modulus-10 function check can be done on a number the
length of which is known at the time of the rule writing.
