Nope.  The contracts have taken control away from 
the programmers.  Do As You Will Under The Law.

Programmers aren't the top of the food chain 
anymore.  That's soooooo 90s.

Yup.  I wouldn't be astonished if AJAX-style apps move away from XML
the way they have shunned WS-*.  My guess is that this is specific to
the AJAX, etc. domain and not the sign of a larger scale move away
from XML, but obviously I don't really know.
